* It is wet... allmost all the time.
* My mistress nags at me, while I don´t use my shelter, but want to lay in the rain..
* As the weather is getting colder, I get my "attacks of grazyness" more often and run elated around the garden.
* A pile of leafs has appear to our garden and ofcourse it is NOT allowed to spread it... at least when my mistress is watching. =)
Ohterweise our life is going on with its own speed, which means quite slowly. It is a good thing. My next dogshow could be one of the shows in November in Jyväskylä or then in December in Helsinki. My mistress says it depends on her studies and on time, which ist limited, as she says. Whatever it means... and we still don´t have a new camera.
One day my mistress hinted me that I could get a visitor when the time ist right. More about that later...

Ristiina 27.8.2011
Yesterday I was with my mistress in Ristiina, in a dog show. It was not just the last show for this summer but also my last show in junior class. The Next time I will be "old enough" to participate in a intermediate class.
In the morning my mistress packed our bag, and then I knew, it´s "showtime". I thoughed that allready in the previous evening as I had to take a shower, allthough I didn´t really wanted. She has a new habbit, she takes me to table, when she brushes me, says that it is better for her back...
The show went not like I thougt, not like all the others I have visited. After our first time on the ring my mistress was weird, somehow totally exited. I thought we could start our trip back home, but no, after a while I was running in the ring again... and after that one more time. After each visit the smile on my mistress face was getting brighter and brigter...
After our last time in the ring my mistress told me that I became BOS! She was very happy and proud about it, I took that much more relaxed...
After the judgement we all drank a coffee together. In my opinion that´s the best part of a dog show. To lay down and listen how the people are talking about us dogs and things that are related to us. Thanks to all who were there! A specialthanks to Heidi, Marjaana & Risto for the fotos!

Our trip "to the World"
Yesterday my mistress came back home early and lifted me without warning into the car. A bit later I realised that this was going to be our journey to Varkaus. The ride was a bit long in my opinion, but thats normal, I suppose, if you have a driver who is able to get lost in the Forest, allthough she has a Navigator and written directions...
On arrival I was a bit suprised, there were three bitches! Soon I noticed that two of them didn´t want to fool around, so clearly they showed me my place. I might be a bit stubborn but the message of those 2 bitches was clear enought that even I did understand it. I didn´t really dare to play around with the third bitch, becaus I´m a gentleman and didn´t want to upset the others... allthough my mistress laughte that I got a bit scared.
Playing aroung with those bitches was not the purpose of our trip. Mistress lifted me on a Table and there I stand while the master of the house taught my mistress the "art of grooming". I was very brave and nice, allthough at the end it was boring and I wondered myself, if my mistress still had questions to ask. Luckily I was afterwards allowed to walk around on garden and enjoy all the new scents wich there were. I can barely remember the drive back home, mistress told me that she heard my konstant snoring all the way back home.
A big Thanks to Risto and Riitta! We had a lots of fun and mistress did learn a lot!

Jeremiad
It is too hot. I don´t want to eat, can´t take a walk but just lying around is boring... Every day my mistress is looking at the rain radar, but even if accordin to the rain radar it should rain, it doesn´t. Well today at the morning it was a pleasant suprise and it rained for a while. After that we took a long walk, but the temperature started to rise again, it didn´t go to thirty, but still... How are you managing this weather?
My mistress started to look at the Dog-Show announcements again, wich means our summerholiday is going to the end. She told me we would drive to Varkaus at the beginning of next month, she will learn something about grooming. There will be a dog show in Ristiina, she would like to go there. Well, we will see if we really are participating or if she just talkes about it ;)

Healthcheck
I´m still a bit sleepy, but I wanted to tell you that I had my offiicial healthcheck today. Ok, I did sleep a half of it, but anyway...
Mistress told me that my eyes and knies are both completely healthy, what pleases us both. We still have to wait the official reasults about hips and elbows. I hope they are also coming in few weeks.

Life isn´t allways fair...
Iines has her pen next to mine, wich is good, because I can have my own privacy, but also her company if it´s needed. Because I don´t like the sunlight, my master has tied a fabric on a part of the fence, so I can lay in the shadow.
Today came our neighbour to us and told my mistress Iines has escaped. My mistress did wonder herself, because she took us to the pens herself and the door to Iines side was tighgtly closed, but she had to believe it, Iines was nowhere to be seen.My mistress couldn´t explain that to herself, because our fence is 2 meters high, but she did not wonder that long untill she went to search Iines. Well... Iines came back shortly after our mistress was gone, as quietly as she went away earlier. Our mistress serached for quite longe time on the wet forest before she came back totally frustrated.
First I thought that only Iines would be "praised" for her action. But then mistress came to inspect our pens and discovered our secret. Behind the fabric I had digged a Tunnel to the other side, so Iines could visit me if she wanted. I can´t get trough it, but because Iines is smaller than me and has lot more experience with escaping, it was no problem at all for her. Today I learned, that Iines can get under my door, what I naturally couldn´t, so she was able to feel the freedom and I didn´t...
After that we were both equally "praised"... I don´t think it´s fair that mistress nags at me, I just helped the "Lady" in need. I think also that it´s unfair that our tunnel is now blocked, under my door is a new board and the fabric will be gone too as soon as my mistress has time to take it away... Sometimes the life just isn´t fair...
